Host an Event at JCCH

Consider hosting your special event here at JCC of Harrison. We are proud of our large and versatile event spaces and we are happy to work with you to ensure that your event is the best it can be.

We provide the perfect space for a bar or bat mitzvah, wedding, bris, baby naming, bridal shower, birthday, anniversary, retirement, and other special celebrations. Whether you are planning an event for 30 people, or 300, JCCH is a fabulous setting. Located just forty minutes from Manhattan, in Harrison, New York, we are convenient to major highways and public transportation, with hotels and resorts nearby. Parking is available in our private parking lot. All of our event spaces are handicap accessible.

Our Event Spaces

Main Sanctuary
The Lee H. Javitch Sanctuary, re-modeled and re-dedicated in 2015, features seating in the round affording excellent views of the bimah from every seat. The Sanctuary can accommodate up to 200 people in the pews. Additional seating can bring the total Sanctuary capacity to 250. A Bridal Room is located nearby.

Ballroom
Our beautiful Ballroom is the perfect space for a stylish, festive event. The room can accommodate up to 225 for dining with a dance floor or 275 for dining with no dance floor.

Reception Room
Our Reception Room is adjacent to the Ballroom and separated by moveable walls. It can be rented along with the Ballroom, thus providing capacity for an additional 120 people, or it can be rented on its own for smaller, more intimate functions.

Small Sanctuary
JCCH offers a small sanctuary with a seating capacity of 100 that is perfect for smaller celebrations such as a bris or baby naming.

Courtyard
Our outdoor courtyard is located adjacent to the Reception Room. The area can be used for an evening under the stars or tented to provide additional “indoor” space. The courtyard is the perfect setting for a wedding ceremony, sit-down luncheon, or cocktail reception.

Gymnasium
Located on our lower level, the Gymnasium is ideal for sports parties, carnivals, birthday parties, and informal gatherings. It features a hardwood floor and a full basketball court.
