10:00 AM Making a More Just America with Rabbi Barbara Paris
Using Jewish foundational principles such as B’Tzelem Elohim, this class will look at current issues facing America. Topics will include food insecurity, homelessness, immigration, and medical costs. We will look at the problems nationwide and then bring it down to the local levels as well in Westchester County. Are there two Americas? What are some solutions that each of us can do to help make a difference? As Jews, what are our obligations and responsibilities to one another and to the community?
