From the moment you step through our school’s doors—hearing the melodies of holiday songs, glimpsing vibrant student artwork lining the halls, and catching snippets of lively classroom conversations—we hope you feel a deep sense of welcome, warmth, and belonging.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to joyful, experiential learning that fosters meaningful connections. We strive to nurture strong Jewish identities in both children and families, empowering them to live rich, purposeful Jewish lives grounded in the values, culture, history, and language of the Jewish people.

School Schedule

At the Kehilah School, our classroom experience is rich, vibrant, and rooted in Jewish tradition. Students engage in Tefillah (prayer), Hebrew reading and decoding, Torah study, Jewish history, and Israel education, along with joyful holiday celebrations and the exploration of cherished Jewish values that guide meaningful living.

We come together regularly for Friday night and Shabbat morning services, deepening our sense of community and connection to Jewish life.

Our curriculum embraces experiential and project-based learning, empowering students to be active participants in their education. Through Jewish literature, music, dance, and art, they express their personal connections to our rich Jewish heritage. At the core of their journey is a commitment to tzedakah (charity) and gemilut chasadim (acts of loving  kindness), which shape not only what they learn, but who they become.

• Kindergarten and 1st Grade: Wednesdays, 4:00 – 6:00 PM
• 2nd–6th Grade: Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:00 – 6:00 PM
• 7th Grade: Wednesdays, 5:00–7:00 PM, plus monthly Sunday volunteer service in the broader community
• 8th–10th Grade (BBYO): Every other Wednesday, 7:00–8:00 PM, featuring electives and guest speakers through the BBYO youth movement

Parent Handbook

Please review the Parent Handbook carefully before your child begins the Kehilah School and refer to it as a reference source all year long. It includes all the general information as well as emergency, early dismissal and inclement weather procedures.
