The PJ Library

We’ll Send Your Child A Jewish Bedtime Story or CD Every Month – For Free!

The PJ Library is a free program that sends high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish books and music to families each month.

PJ Library at the Jewish Community Center of Harrison is limited to families with children ages 6 months to 8 years of age living in the Harrison, Purchase, Rye, W. Harrison, Port Chester, White Plains, Greenwich and Rye Brook area. If you have children or grandchildren living outside this area and would like to enroll those children, please visit www.pjlibrary.org.

This program is made possible through the generous support from the Susser Family Trust and Bede Levinson and Family.

A Little More About the PJ Library

The PJ Library was created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, a leader in creating and supporting innovative opportunities for Jewish engagement in Western Massachusetts and beyond.

The PJ Library program reaches out to Jewish families with young children to help create stronger Jewish homes – homes that foster children’s curiosity about their Jewish heritage and help families explore their Jewish identity. Participating families will receive a high-quality Jewish children’s book or CD sent to their home every month accompanied by resources to help families discuss topics. Regardless of your level of observance or affiliation, the gift of stories and songs is sure to enrich your entire family’s Jewish journey.

As parents or as educators, we all know the power of reading stories with young children. These nurturing, joyous, and beneficial early learning experiences build the emotional and cognitive foundation for each child. That is why the Jewish Community Center of Harrison, with the support of Amy and John Tanenbaum, have launched The PJ Library.

We can’t wait to start sending your family free Jewish books and music!
