The JCCH Kehilah School

General School Information & Forms

Upon entering the doors of our school, walking through its halls, hearing holiday songs and class discussions and observing children’s art on the walls, we hope you’ll be struck by a welcoming feeling of warmth and belonging. We are committed to creating meaningful connections and a joyful experiential learning environment in which children and families can develop and embrace strong Jewish identities, and live meaningful Jewish lives with an appreciation of the values, culture, history, and language of the Jewish people.

School Schedule
The Kehilah School classroom experience includes learning Teffilah (prayer), Hebrew reading and decoding, Torah study, Jewish history, Israel, and holiday celebrations as well as cherished Jewish values as a guide to living a meaningful life. We celebrate together Friday night and Shabbat morning services as well as holidays.

Our students learn through experiential learning, and a project-based approach where they become active learners. The curriculum includes reading Jewish literature, listening to Jewish music, dancing and art projects to express their individual connections to our reach Jewish heritage. Part of their commitment is to adhere to the core tenets of tzedakah (charity) and gemilut hasadim (acts of loving kindness)
